Product is OK; but not top quality. Expensive for what it is.

Cover looks nice, but do not confuse this for a true ceramic product. This is some kind of molded composite material. The cover is glued to a plastic base (likely to protect it in from cracking if screws are torqued too tightly - not sure the intent). The plastic base on this duplex cover is slightly off white, and looks dirty when installed next to white ceramic subway tiles. The screw holes are indented 1/32 inch, and step down from the face of the cover. However, they are not countersink holes, and do not match the base of the mounting screws. The mounting screws (after installed) extend beyond the face 1/8 inch. The screws themselves have a finish to "match" the cover plate, but it is clearly evident that the paint was not allowed to dry before they were handled (poor surface quality does not match cover plate). It looks like the screws are not compatible with the design of the cover plate. Of course, countersinking the holes would create a weaker base, and there would be greater risk of cracking if screws were over torqued. The manufacturer should consider a flat base on the screws, and a less prominent head, for a better appearance. The cones shapes head actually increases risk of cracking with the flat holes provided in the cover plate. The plastic base should be eliminated for cost savings, as it seams to serve no purpose, and is not a perfect match. The single rocker cover plates I purchased had the same issues, except the plastic seemed to be a better color match.
