Cracks easily
I purchased over 10 of these. A couple have cracked very easily when putting the screws in. Most did well, however I had a couple crack without any pressure on the screw.

Nice look, frame causes interference with fit.
Pros: Looks great.Cons: This plate isn’t designed well at all. The plastic caddy on the back is there to keep screw heads of the switches from “bumping into” the plate. In adding the plastic frame, your switch becomes recessed too much. Most switches that have a metal plate to screw to, think decora/rocker switch style are going to have a problem with the plastic screw hole on the back of the plate. As you can see from my photos, I cut the plastic tabs off so that the switch or plug is flush with the surface of the plug on the other side. But the plate needs to be modded further so that there’s clearance for the screw as it pushes up against the back side of the faceplate.I got matching plug plates and am seeing the same problem with the plugs being recessed slightly. I’ll be modifying all these plates to eliminate the issue.Thoughts: The design errors have caused the manufacturer to add an extra plastic plate which causes the switch to recess. Honestly, the should have fixed this before putting it to market. Would be nice if I didn’t have to modify these to work correctly.
